How to count your score?
How not to think about points and focus on the game?
We all already know that beer goes hand in hand with Cornhole, and we also know that even after a few beers, we throw “better”, but remember the score less well.
We have several options that will make it easier for you not to calculate points on your fingers, but to use your hands for better purposes. Of course, for holding bags and beer.
1st option is paper and pen
The good old way, where you can before game draw the draw and rounds for each game in advance, and in that way monitor the score. Even better if you have someone to write down while you play.
2nd option, a wooden stand with a score scale
A pretty good option for quick tracking of points. The wooden stand comes in several variants, and can be used as a drink stand, among other things. The advantage compared to mobile applications is that the battery will never run out with the wooden stand, but in case you want to transfer your Cornhole set with stand to other locations, you will need to plan a little more space in the car.
3rd option is mobile/web apps
There are several applications on the market:
- ACL app – Before starting to play, you need to create a free profile and after that you can either create your own tournament or opt for a simpler option with a digital scoreboard. In case you play on multiple sets, you will have to record them somewhere else.
- Scoreholio – There are mobile and web applications. You select the Cornhole game, enter the name of the players or teams and you are ready to throw the bags. You can access the scoring scale here.
- 4BAGR – the app works in a similar way to Scoreholio.
For those who like to play more
You have probably already seen for yourself that Cornhole is a game that is easy to play, but takes years of practice. In case you need additional motivation for training, the mentioned applications can serve as a good sparring partner, and with different options, be an adequate partner in your training.
Enjoy the Cornhole and don’t forget, if you hit all the bags in the hole you can’t lose! 🤔
Cheers! 🍻
